LOGAN FARM PARK

Located in the center of the Acworth city, Logan Farm Park is a must visit to enjoy with the entire family, This park is home of lots of pathways, green open space, 2 playgrounds( kids particularly love it!), a pond and hiking trails. Great for gatherings,. play dates or just simple a stroll around it trails.With a total of 120 Acres this park is a gem right in downtown Acworth. RED TOP MOUNTAIN

This park is on Lake Allatoona and it is perfect for fishing and swimming during the summer months. Visitors can bring their own boats or rent from nearby marinas. A sand swimming beach is nestled in a cove and surrounded by trees, providing a great place to cool off during summer. Picnic shelters and group shelters may be rented for meetings, parties, reunions and other celebrations.

TELLUS

Tellus Science Museum is a natural history and science museum, located near Cartersville, Georgia this facility ignite passion for science with their exhibitions and hands on learning activities. A Fossil gallery and the awesome planetarium experience are few of the things that make this option a great learning and fun activity for kids. The Museum opens daily from 9 am. to 5 pm and it is close on Major Holidays

CAUBLE PARK

This park is located along northern shore of Lake Acworth, it has a beach, playground, picnic areas, tons of walkways and the best part of it in my opinion, is the view, it is a great spot for seeing the beautiful and glowing sunsets of Atlanta. Cauble park also known as Acworth Beach is a busy place in the summer, the beach is open for swimming from early June to Labor Day.

SMITH- GILBERT GARDEN

Smith-Gilbert Gardens is the house of 17 acres full of history and thousands of plants including several rare in American gardens.

I love this place especially if you have little kids, their space is easy to walk around, there is plenty of exhibitions and lots of fun learning activities. It has 15 garden areas and 32 sculptures and lots of exhibits from bonsai to butterflies!

This Cobb County botanical garden is located at 2382 Pine Mountain Road, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152 and is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
